Alex (Priyanka Chopra) has been captured and the interrogation begins.
Back at Quantico, the class learns about profiling serial killers by a leading expert who caught the “Welfare Mom” killer. They break up in groups and study cases and have a presentation at the end. Asher (Tate Ellington), however, won’t let one case go – the one solved by the expert leading the class.
In the end, Asher realizes the expert who caught the “Welfare Mom” killer planted evidence to catch him. He confronts her and she nearly takes him away from the bar they are at, to maybe even kill him, when Booth (Jake McLaughlin) stops them and all but saves his life.
Asher takes his evidence to the police and the investigation is re-opened much to the chagrin of his classmates who tell him now a killer of eight women will go free.
Back to Alex and her being caught – Liam (Josh Hopkins) is getting set to interrogate her when she is whisked away by some shadowy part of the government. They try and get Alex to confess by torturing Booth whom they got off the plane after Alex left him there.
The group confronts Liam about his belief Alex is guilty, and after he starts to believe them, they start to search for Alex. After finding her and raiding the place they are at, saving Alex and Booth, Liam admits he believes Alex didn’t set off the bomb.
However, Liam convinces Alex the only way they can find out who framed Alex is for her, and the others, to pretend she is guilty. So, the episode ends with Alex pleading guilty to multiple charges.
As for Asher, he is disenchanted with the FBI and meets his “bomber friend” who gives him the blueprints to all the train stations in New York.
