Infinitely Polar Bear premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last year and stars Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana. It’s finally getting an international and U.S. release after it was picked by Sony Pictures Classic for distribution at the festival.
The comedy-drama stars Ruffalo as a manic-depressive attempting to put his life back on track through taking responsibility for his two young daughters, while his wife (played by Saldana) goes off to get her MBA. His daughters are played by Imogene Wolodarsky and Ashley Aufderheide.
Infinitely Polar Bear was written and directed by Maya Forbes. The screenplay is based on her life. J.J. Abrams serves as one of the executive producers through his production company Bad Robot.
A manic-depressive mess of a father tries to win back his wife by attempting to take full responsibility of their two young, spirited daughters, who don’t make the overwhelming task any easier.
Infinitely Polar Bear will be released in the U.S. on June 19.
