‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Recap: Kenya Moore Steals Vivica A. Fox’s Phone

celebrity apprentice who stole my phone

Four celebrities were fired in this week’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice titled “Who Stole My Phone?” after the major drama that happens between Kenya Moore and Vivica A. Fox. Kenya got the boot in the first hour of Celebrity Apprentice, and then in a surprise twist, Donald Trump fired all three people from Team Infinity: 90210’s Ian Ziering, baseball player Johnny Damon, and Real Housewife Brandi Glanville.

Maybe it seemed unfair because this was Team Infinity’s first loss in a long time, but I’m not upset about any of these people leaving. Ian (pronounced “Eye-In”) started to get really annoying, especially in this episode where he showed he’s not that different from Geraldo Rivera, his rival from the beginning of the season when they were both on the men’s team. He’s condescending and way too pushy with his ideas. Johnny Damon was a complete non-factor. He seems like a nice guy, but he wasn’t really bringing anything to the show. I kind of liked Brandi because she showed spunk and defended herself against Ian, so she was probably the biggest loss from Team Infinity, but overall I’m not too bothered.

We’re now down to three finalists: Leeza Gibbons, Vivica A. Fox, and Geraldo Rivera. Leeza has been saint-like this entire season; it seems like she can do no wrong. Vivica has been really enjoyable to watch and has contributed a lot of great one-liners. Not to mention her epic fight with Kenya Moore in this episode. Finally, there’s Geraldo “Screw the terrorists! We won!” Rivera, who’s almost cartoonish in his ridiculousness. Despite having a lot of bad ideas throughout the season and contributing to his team’s losses, he’s managed to make it to the finals. But Trump likes him, so it’s not a huge surprise.

Highlights from the episode:

PhoneGate

Did Kenya steal Vivica’s phone and send that tweet about having menopause? There’s plenty of circumstantial evidence against Kenya. Vivica’s phone was missing and Kenya wanted someone to throw under the bus in case they lost the task. She also said she had a “trick” up her sleeve, and she was the one who brought up the tweet in the first place. She vehemently denied the whole thing, but I don’t know if I believe her story. It just seems like something Kenya Moore would do.

The best part of this whole fight was Vivica telling Kenya, “Bye, trick.”

Babies Love Buns

Was “Babies Love Buns” the worst idea in Celebrity Apprentice history? It was obvious as soon as Kenya came up with the idea that it was horrible. And you don’t need a million-dollar corporation to figure that out.

Ian’s Jingle

I loved Trump’s reaction to hearing Ian’s jingle, which was pretty much just “La Cucaracha” but using different words.

Joan Rivers Makes Another Appearance

This was Joan Rivers’ second appearance this season, and she was pretty quiet throughout most of the episode. Is it the editing to make her seem more saintly?
