Watch The Fake Trailer for ‘MoonQuake Lake’ With Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher

Would you watch MoonQuake Lake, starring real-life couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher?

Clips from the trailer, all thanks to directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller (22 Jump Street, The Lego Movie), appears in Sony’s upcoming movie musical Annie, a modern-day version of the Broadway musical of the same name. (Un)fortunately for us, except for the trailer, MoonQuake Lake doesn’t actually exist.

The Twilight knockoff trailer also features Rihanna in her best movie role since Battleship and beautifully written dialogue such as: “Said the boy who doesn’t have to go home to the moon every night.” Are you intrigued yet?

Annie, directed by Will Gluck and starring Quvenzhane Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild), Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, and Cameron Diaz, opens December 19, 2014. The official soundtrack will be released on November 17, 2014.

Most (if not all) of the songs are overly autotuned messes, but MoonQuake Lake does have its own theme song courtesy of Sia and Beck. So that’s… something.

If you’re at all curious, pre-order the Annie soundtrack here.

MoonQuake Lake also has its own website.
