After the accidental leak of the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer online earlier last week, Marvel decided to go on the offensive, and open the floodgates to all of their new projects coming up.
Not that we should have been surprised, that they’ve got movies planned well into the next decade! Marvel’s Phase 3 is shaping up to be its strongest yet.
Following the release of the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, Marvel has also revealed some juicy secrets on what it has in store for Captain America 3: Civil War. The name alone should ring a bell (or not). Look it up if you want, but, without spoiling anything, let’s just say that Captain America and Iron Man might not be so chummy together in that film.
Surprisingly, Avengers 3 was announced as well. Since many of Marvel’s new release info usually happens in San Diego Comic-Con, one has to wonder if they will be releasing another teaser then. Looks like we’ll have to wait and see. In the mean time, we can speculate on Infinity War (Thanos + infinity gems? uh oh), and what could possibly harken the end of the current run of superheroes, many of whom’s obligational contracts with Marvel run up with Infinity War.
Only time will tell. Well played, Marvel, to get audiences hyped for what will no doubt be an exciting and action-packed movie.
