Disclosure Drops Remix of “F For You” Featuring Mary J. Blige

Adding to their never ending list of pitch-perfect collaborations, Disclosure has dropped a studio version of the “F For You” remix featuring Mary J. Blige, just days after their surprise performance in NYC.

The duo has been on fire recently, embarking on a sold-out U.S. tour, leading the BRIT Award nominations, and being chosen as my best album of 2013.

An already pulsing track about being stupid in love (or actually infected with a cold, as told by Disclosure themselves), Mary J. Blige adds a soulful depth with her ’90s club vocals. Some Disclosure fans may feel cheated as it’s the only single from the album that didn’t have a featured vocalist, however some may hope this will help further launch an American Disclosure breakthrough.

It’s really got me thinking: who’s next to hop on this current sensation’s entrancing beats? If they’re looking for more Americans, may I kindly suggest Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, or P!nk?

And the souls of a thousand music snobs just died as I typed that.
