Although we don’t know a whole lot about Christopher Nolan’s next movie, Interstellar, there’s already a teaser trailer out well before its November 7, 2014 release date.
Of course, there isn’t much going on in said teaser, except for a voiceover by Matthew McConaughey, a shot of the actor driving through a cornfield in his truck, and then another with him looking up at the sky. Anne Hathaway is the second co-lead in the movie, which boasts an all-star cast including Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, David Oyelowo, and Ellen Burstyn.
Both Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan wrote the screenplay for Interstellar. It will chronicle the “adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.” It will involve space exploration, time travel, and alternate dimensions. So all that theoretical physics nerdy goodness.
Interstellar will make use of 35mm anamorphic and IMAX film photography, as well. Meanwhile, Hans Zimmer, who worked on Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy and the Nolan produced Man of Steel, will score the movie. Hoyte van Hoytema (Let the Right One In, Her) will do the cinematography.
