What To Watch Tonight: Thursday, October 3rd

Here’s a helpful TV watching guide to help you decide what shows to watch tonight.

Scandal | 10PM

Hell, yes! The season 3 premiere of ABC’s break-out hit Scandal is tonight.

Kerry Washington stars as a professional Washington D.C. fixer who was having an affair with the President of the United States. At the end of season 2, we learned that their affair had been leaked to the press because a mass of reporters showed up at Olivia’s doorsteps to ask her questions about the POTUS.

Then, on top of that, show creator Shonda Rhimes throws us another bombshell – the guy running the super-secret CIA agency that Huck used to be a member of is her dad!

Parks and Recreation | 8PM

Kirsten Bell (Veronica Mars, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) guest stars on all-new Parks and Recreation. The episode, called “The Pawnee-Eagleton Tip off Classic,” features the return of Leslie’s most hated town in the world (and coincidentally her birthplace) – Eagleton. Bell plays Leslie’s Eagleton counterpart.

Elementary | 10PM

On tonight’s episode of Elementary, “Solve for X,” Sherlock and Joan investigate the murder of a mathematician who – prior to his death – was attempting to solve a “highly guarded” equation. Meanwhile, Joan meets with a former patient’s son who asks her for a loan.

Welcome to the Family | 8:30PM

Check out the premiere of NBC’s new comedy, Welcome to the Family, starring Kurt’s dad from Glee and Carlos from Desperate Housewives. One of our bloggers, Josh, wrote a review for the pilot episode, which you can read here.

The comedy is based around two families who come together and experience a clash of cultures when Junior, son of Latino parents, gets Molly, daughter of white parents, pregnant.
