What To Watch Tonight: Monday, October 7th

Here are the TV shows airing tonight that you simply can’t miss:

Sleepy Hollow | 9PM on FOX

Last week, it was announced that Sleepy Hollow was renewed for a second season. The series, which will air for 13 episodes in its first season, has become a surprise break-out hit over at FOX.

On tonight’s episode, titled “The Lesser Key of Solomon,” Ichabod (Tom Mison) helps Abbie (Nicole Beharie) locate her sister Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) who broke out of the mental institution at the end of the third episode. Check out Christine’s review of the pilot here and read a recap of the pilot episode that I wrote here.

The Blacklist | 10PM on NBC

Admittedly, I haven’t had the chance to watch The Blacklist yet. However, the ratings for the series, which stars James Spader as a notorious criminal mastermind who turns himself into the FBI in the first episode, have been excellent so far. Read Christine’s review of the pilot episode here.

On tonight’s episode, the FBI is on the hunt for a “high-ranking Chinese spy named Wujing, whom Red claims hired him to help decode a classified CIA transmission.”
