Wednesday night’s episode of Big Brother began with Elissa having just nominated Aaryn and Amanda for eviction.
Aaryn had been Elissa’s initial target, but then Elissa changed her mind – voicing how awesome it would be to get Amanda out in an awkward, yet pretty raw DR session.
Amanda, who’s been used to getting her way in the Big Brother house, was panicking. Her paranoia led her to believe that Elissa was targeting her, so she kept a close watch over her. She was pacing back and forth in the kitchen watching Elissa and Gina Marie – thinking they were talking about her behind her back – when Elissa ended up spitting out her drink and laughing hysterically at Amanda’s odd behavior.
Finally, Amanda confronted the duo and accused Gina Marie of kissing ass. Gina Marie went ballistic and got into a heated shouting match with Amanda, before McCrae pulled Amanda away into a different room. He chided Amanda on getting into fights with people, especially with him being on the block.
So now that Elissa has decided to evict Amanda instead of Aaryn, worst case scenario would be if Amanda won POV because then she could take McCrae off the block and not be nominated either, thereby sealing Aaryn’s fate and ruining the plan to evict Amanda.
And that’s exactly what ended up happening. The POV was a Zingbot challenge. Zingbot showed up and ripped into the houseguests (not as badly as I would have preferred).
The Zingbot’s Zings
McCrae: “I finally understand why you’re always wearing shorts, because Amanda wears the pants.”
Gina Marie: “Nick says since meeting you he feels like he’s been swept away into a classic cinematic love story – Fatal Attraction.”
Andy: “I think there’s a ghost in the Big Brother house. It has a high-pitched wail, it’s pasty white, and it loves to float. Oh wait, that’s just Andy.”
Aaryn: “Some may say you were acting mean and nasty in the beginning of this game, but I disagree. That wasn’t acting.”
Amanda: “Don’t worry, you can visit McCrae in Minnesota. Just mail yourself using your giant tramp stamp.”
Elissa: “I hear you like to impersonate me, but I think you’re much better at being a cheap imitation of your sister.”
POV Competition and Ceremony
The theme of the POV competition had to do with Baby Zingbot turning a year old (Baby Zingbot was introduced in BB14), so there were party hats and a birthday cake. In order to win the POV, the houseguests had to throw a ball down a tube and run over to the other side to catch it. Each time they were successful, they would generate 1 point. If the ball fell, their point score would go back to zero.
Towards the end, the competition was between Gina Marie and Amanda. Unfortunately, Gina Marie had dropped the ball and too far behind so Amanda ended up winning the POV.
Worst case scenario!
With her first competition win under her belt, Amanda started bullying Elissa before the POV ceremony where Elissa would have to choose a replacement nominee (of course Amanda will use the POV to save McCrae). Amanda threw insult after insult at her, wearing a cone-shaped birthday hat and blowing a kazoo, while Elissa had locked herself up in her HoH room. None of the houseguests stood up to Amanda, but none of them really approved of Amanda’s behavior, other than Mean Girl Aaryn.
Amanda claimed this was a game move to get Andy to stay off the block as Elissa’s replacement nominee and to keep the 3AM alliance (Amanda, McCrae, Andy, Aaryn) intact. Amanda would bully and harass Elissa, allowing Andy the opportunity to console Elissa.
Well, it didn’t work. Andy ended up being the replacement nominee anyways, sealing 3AM’s fate.
